BUY A HOME YOU UNDERSTAND.
Buying a home is overwhelming. Nobody taught us how to do this shit. My job is to make sure you understand each decision before you make it.
THE BUY PROCESS
YOU DON'T NEED TO UNDERSTAND THE WHOLE PROCESS TODAY.
Buying a home can feel overwhelming because nobody actually teaches us how to do it.
Think about it like baseball.
As a runner, you don't need to worry about home plate when you're standing on first. You just need to understand what needs to happen to get to the next base.
Some of it depends on you. Some depends on your lender, the seller, inspectors, appraisers, title, and everyone else involved in the transaction.
My job is to keep everyone moving and make sure you understand what's happening along the way.
No pressure. We'll figure out where you are, what you need, and what your next base actually is.
ASK EVERYTHING
There are no stupid questions. Especially the financial ones you think you're supposed to already understand.
UNDERSTAND THE WHY
I don't just tell you what we're doing. I'll explain why we're doing it and what your options are.
YOU MAKE THE CALL
I'll give you my opinion, the numbers, and the risks. The final decision is always yours.
ONE DECISION - ONE BASE - ONE STEP AT A TIME.
THE LINDSEY LENS
YOU'RE LOOKING AT THE KITCHEN.
I'M LOOKING AT THE CRACK ABOVE IT.
A beautiful house can still be a shitty purchase.
Cosmetics are easy to change. I'm more interested in the things that affect how the house performs, what it'll cost you to own, and whether it'll still make sense years from now.
Kitchen + countertops
Flooring
Paint colors
Appliances
Layout
Backyard
Whether it feels like “the one”
WHAT YOU'RE PROBABLY LOOKING AT
Cracks + signs of movement
Quality of craftsmanship
Roof + HVAC age
Plumbing + electrical
Water intrusion + drainage
Deferred maintenance
Likely repair costs
Resale + long-term risk
WHAT I'M LOOKING AT
No pressure. We'll figure out where you are, what you need, and what your next base actually is.
